  • Another Indescribable Dream

So I had another incredible dream last night.  I dreamt that I was getting married.  The getting married part was not the most exciting part, but the feeling of having the unconditional love of a woman - that was what it was all about.  The night before the wedding, my fiancee and I were spending time together just talking.

"Do you really love me?  Do you really want to marry me and spend the rest of your life with me?", I asked her.

"Of course I do, Gabriel.  I love you with every part of me.  You are my best and most incredible friend", she said.

It was in this moment that I experienced the second most happy moment that I have ever felt in my life.  I mean, knowing that there is another person in this world that loves you more than anyone else and is devoted to you and would do anything for you - real, true, honest love.  Now that is powerful.  Though my dream ended there in that conversation, I learned about my self and the Lord.

I feel like I ask God this same question some time.  "Do you really love me?  Do you really want to spend the rest of your life with me?"  to which He replies, "Of course I do, Gabriel.  I love you with every part of me".  How incredible is that?

Love - is such a splendid thing - not just the love that we know between friends - but the intimate love, the love experienced between husband and wife, found in the love between Jesus and His bride, The Church.

    To my future wife,

I am waiting for you.  Wherever you are... whoever you are?  I cannot wait to lavish my love on you; to pour out every ounce of God's blessing for me over your life.  When we finally are at the moment when we are united in spirit, I cannot wait to experience the unconditional love that you have for me.  Soon we shall meet eachother and soon we shall walk through this life together, hand in hand, hearts as one, walking in unity beyond measure.  I love you my beautiful.

  • My Goodbye Letter

    David,

Thanks for being such an incredible person! You were an inspiration of what true Love should be, my friend.  And I could see you walk this out, day by day by day.  Every time you asked for a hug, or reached out your hand for a handshake, you were showing the love of Christ from within you.  You allowed that love to become excited and expand from your spirit to your character, from your character to your countenance, and from your countenance to those around you.  You were a prime example of Christ-likeness, my friend.

I especially loved those hugs you gave me!  I do not remember ever getting a hug from a  man bigger than me!  HAHAHA!  It was kind of weird at first - haha!  I was not used to that!

But anyways, know that you will be missed. The times when you supported the power dialer in the call center when no one else did (Patience), the times when you came to Touch Point even when you did not have to (commitment), the times you called like crazy to reach and exceed your call goals (diligence), and the numerous times you were kind and gentle to others you did and did not know (love).

    You are missed my friend.

Until we see each other face to face again!

    I love you bro!

    Gabe
